William FitzsimmonsDue to space limitations, this event is limited to alumni Summit participants, as well as their families. Join us for a special discussion with William Fitzsimmons AB ’67, M.Ed ’69, PhD ’71, Harvard College Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, to learn about Harvard Admissions trends and how they affect Asian and Asian-American students, as well as Harvard’s approach toward Asian and Asian-American applicants in the context of the national debate about affirmative action in college admissions. Afterward, a panel of current Asian-American undergrads will answer questions about life at the College.

Student guests whose parents have pre-registered them for the Summit may receive a pass to have lunch in Annenberg before the session—they will be mailed to you before the Summit. Students and their families may join the regular Admissions Campus Tour at 11 am or 3 pm.

Please note the session with Dean Fitzsimmons is not  an instructional session on the current process of applying to Harvard College. Prospective students interested in that process may wish to attend the regular Admissions Info Session at 10 am or 2 pm.
